Our giclee canvas prints are produced using only the best equipment and materials
available. Longevity is the guiding factor in our choice of materials, as it would
be pointless using inks that are guaranteed for 75 years printed onto inferior quality
canvas and stretched onto cheap frames which are not going to last the distance.
We want your pieces of artwork to last you at least one lifetime, so we produce
our canvasses with that always in our minds and have sourced our supplies accordingly.
Our canvasses are not the cheapest on the net but our quality is second to non and having produced thousands of pieces of art for people all over the world we are still proud that we maintain our 100% customer satisfaction record, having never had a print rejected in our two years of trading! We also hope that our discerning customers are willing to pay that little bit extra for something they can be confident will look fantastic on their wall for many years to come.
PRINTER
We use Canon iPF8000 wide format printers which are capable of producing giclee
prints to a very high standard of 2400x1200 dpi maximum resolution.
Unlike conventional inkjet printers this machine feature a dual 1-inch wide print
head. There are 2,560 nozzles for each of the 12 colours, a total of 30,720 nozzles.
The unrivalled nozzle density enables printing of the highest quality
INKS
We use a Canon LUCIA 12 colour pigment ink system which provides superior quality
and colour performance, The LUCIA inks boast an incredibly wide colour gamut, smooth
graduation and reduced graininess.
The excellent lightfastness ( 75 years + ) ensures the longevity of your Giclee
print with minimal image degradation, and the pigment-based ink offers excellent
water resistance.
UV COATING
Every canvas print that we create, we coat with a special water resistant UV coating.
It is sprayed onto the canvas using a professional spray gun and compressor system.
The UV lacquer coating is a matte finish ( satin or gloss finishes are available
as an option by special request ) which gives a more even coating. It
protects the image from dirt, dust and scuffing and also boosts the saturation of
the colours giving richer hues and more solid blacks and further enhancing the effect
of your piece of artwork.
Some canvas printing companies charge for this as an optional extra adding up to
ten pounds to the price of your wall art so beware when comparing prices!
Bars
We use only the best Premium European Pine Bars dried to a moisture content
of less than 8%, which are very high quality and eco friendly.They are produced
from short lengths of bar joined together so minimising the possibility of warping.
We produce canvases on two different depths of frame ( 38mm or 18mm ), the choice
is yours!
Frames for Canvas artwork over 36" are fitted with cross bars which add
further to the sturdiness and stability of an already very high quality product.
Care Instructions
Our canvas art is made using UV pigment inks, these inks provide enhanced lightfastness
compared to Dye-based inks, ensuring that your giclee canvas remains vibrant and
fade free for many years after purchase.
* As with all art prints, keep your canvas away from direct sunlight
as this can fade the colours and affect the frame with extreme temperatures and
light.
* Do not hang your canvas art in areas of extreme heat variations and humidity
such as bathrooms or directly above radiators. If the relative humidity keeps on
changing then the canvas will expand and contract.
* If you find over time the wooden frame needs tensioning just use a hammer
to gently tap the wedges into each corner on the inside of the canvas. All our canvases
come with tensioning wedges as standard.
* Canvas prints are not weatherproof so ensure you hang them inside the house.
* To clean the canvas just use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Electrostatic
dust cloths and feather dusters also work well. You shouldn’t need to dust more
than once every few years. Our canvases have a UV varnish applied to them to provide
a protective layer to the material and ink.
* To remove dirt build up or splashes wipe very gently with a slightly damp
soft cloth, then allow to dry. Never rub your canvas print too hard or continuously
in the same area.

1. Take Your Photograph
Take any digital picture with your camera, portraits, landscapes, friends family or just something inspirational to you. Alternatively have a look through your older photograph files for something special that would make the perfect gift or addition to a room.
2 . Visit PicAdore
On our PicAdore site you can upload you photographs and view them using our Canvas Preview Software. Without obligation you can have fun and be creative changing the size, shape, wrap, orientation, split the canvas and add effects of the print and view this on a choice of walls and room colours. If you decide you want to order a print simply follow the instructions once you have chosen the canvas size and any other relevant details.
3. Open Your Canvas
PicAdore will then create a proof of the canvas that we will email to you for approval prior to printing. Once the proof has been approved your canvas will be printed. This takes about 5 working days. We will then wrap and ship your canvas via next day courier. Once you have your canvas you have up to 14 Days to return it to us for a full refund if you aren't completely satisfied.
